Chocolate in excess is harmful to dogs. It contains a toxin called theobromine; the darker the chocolate, the higher
the content of theobromine. Baking chocolate is most dangerous, and white chocolate is least. Just 4 oz of baking
chocolate can potentially kill a dog under 9 lb.
