THANK  YOU The Board of Directors of the Humane Society of Douglas County would like to extend a sincere and heartfelt thank you to the Superior Animal Hospital and Boarding Suites at 36 E. Second Street, Superior, WI. On Saturday, February 16th, 2008, Dr. Robert McClellan (owner), Dr. Jody Berquist, Dr. Sara Harwood, Dr. Jennifer Shamla, Dr. Michelle Severs, and many of the staff, volunteered their time to spay and neuter 22 cats and 7 dogs from the Humane Society of Douglas County (HSDC) at no charge to the animals shelter. Many thanks also goes to the HSDC volunteers that transported the animals to and from the two facilities. It was truly a team effort and one that the Humane Society is extremely grateful for. The Humane Society of Douglas County would like to extend A HUGE THANK YOU to the great crew at DINEHERY FENCE for their repairs to our dog kennel doors.     Everyone is always so friendly and accommodating there, and we cannot thank them enough for the labor and parts they have donated to keep our fencing in tip-top shape.
